Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) is a powerful control used to
suppress NOx emissions in engines.
The ECM model 5230 EGR Analyser offers rapid and accurate
measurements of both EGR and Lambda (AFR). The compact design and
speed of response of the 5230 analyser makes it ideal for
applications in a dynamometer or in-vehicle.
The EGR 5230 determines %EGR by measuring the O2 and
pressures directly in the intake and exhaust of the engine under
test. The instrument is non-intrusive and displays measurements in
less than one second.
